LA Cheese is old-school cheese done properly. Open the jar and the room knows about it: pungent, funky, unmistakably cheese. Underneath sits a peppery, spicy edge, and on the exhale the smooth, earthy character of LA Confidential comes through. The buds are dense and dark, purple running through the green, threaded with orange hairs and coated in frost. Break one open and the cheese gets louder. It is a mostly indica cross of LA Confidential and Big Buddha Cheese. The effect is a deep, heavy body relaxation with a happy, euphoric head and a fit of the giggles, followed by a serious case of the munchies. One for the sofa, a film and a full fridge. 19% THC, craft grown on our own farm, hand-trimmed and cured. From R110 a gram, or R270 for three.
