Slurricane, sometimes written Slurricane OG or just Slurri, is a heavy hitter with a sweet tooth. Open the jar and it is pungent and earthy, with strong overtones of herbs, berries and spice. The taste is where it wins people over: sweet berries, sugary grapes and tropical fruit on the inhale, then a spicy, earthy exhale. The buds are chunky and resin-soaked, deep purple and dark green wrapped in bright orange hairs and a heavy coat of frost. It is a potent, indica-leaning cross of Do-Si-Dos and Purple Punch. The terpene profile is led by caryophyllene, which gives the peppery bite, followed by limonene and myrcene. The effect creeps. It starts as a slow, building head high, then sinks into deep physical relaxation, the kind that ends in couch-lock and heavy eyelids. Keep this one for the evening, when there is nothing left on the list. 26% THC, craft grown on our own farm, hand-trimmed and cured. From R110 a gram, or R270 for three.
