THC gummies or THC drinks: which edible should I choose?

Both are swallowed rather than smoked, so both take longer to kick in than a joint or a vape. Gummies suit people who want something small and easy to carry; drinks suit people who would rather sip slowly. The main differences:

How should I dose THC edibles?

Start low, wait, and only then decide whether to have more. Your body processes swallowed THC differently from smoked cannabis, so the effects arrive later and can last longer. The most common mistake is taking a second dose before the first has kicked in.

• Start with the lowest strength if edibles are new to you, or with part of a pack or part of a drink.
• Wait at least two hours before taking more. Effects can take anywhere from half an hour to two hours to show.
• Keep alcohol out of it. Do not combine edibles with alcohol.
• Plan ahead. Do not drive after taking edibles, and keep them locked away from children and pets, since they look like ordinary sweets and cold drinks.
