Weed Dispensary Johannesburg: Online and Farm Direct

Where can I buy weed in Johannesburg?

Online, from Green Vault. You register once as a member, choose what you want from the store, pay by card, and we send it to your door or a PUDO locker anywhere in Johannesburg. The process is the same whether you live in Soweto, Sandton or Edenvale.

The usual alternatives in Joburg are a shop you visit in person, a private seller on WhatsApp, or a friend of a friend. Buying weed in Johannesburg from an online dispensary that grows its own gives you things those options often do not: a clear listing for every product, an order record, tracking, and a team you can reach if something is wrong.

Want to weigh up the options first? Our guide on where to buy cannabis in Johannesburg compares them.

How is Green Vault different from other dispensaries in Joburg?

We grow our own. Green Vault owns its farms, and the flower and pre-rolls in this store are organically grown there and sent to you farm direct. Many dispensaries in Johannesburg are resellers: they buy from a grower or wholesaler and add their margin before the product reaches the shelf.

Selling farm direct changes two things for you. The first is price: with no middleman taking a cut, the saving stays in what you pay. The second is accountability. When we recommend a strain, it is our own crop we are talking about, and customer care and quality come before profit.

The farm-direct claim covers our flower and pre-rolls only. Bhang Bars, Soda Fuze and Zativa are third-party brands, and we make no farm claim for the disposable vape pens or gummies either. The full story is on our farms.

Is there a 24 hour weed shop in Johannesburg?

Green Vault is the closest thing to one: the online store takes orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, while dispatch runs on working days. You can place an order at 11pm on a Wednesday or early on a Sunday morning, and it joins the queue for the next dispatch.

Here is what 24/7 means in practice:

• Ordering: open around the clock, nights and weekends included.
• Dispatch: orders in before 2pm leave the same day. Anything later goes out on the next working day.
• Delivery: usually the day after dispatch.
• Help: messages through the contact form or email are usually answered the same day.

There is no counter that stays open all night, because there are no Green Vault premises at all. Late-night orders simply wait for the next dispatch.

Which parts of Johannesburg does Green Vault deliver to?

All of them, and the rest of Gauteng too. The table groups the areas by region and shows where named PUDO lockers are already listed on the local page. Wherever you are, you can choose door delivery or pick the nearest locker at checkout.

Not on the list? We still deliver there. The Gauteng delivery areas hub covers every region, and weed delivery Johannesburg explains cut-off times and door versus locker in detail.

What can I buy at an online dispensary in Johannesburg?

Five product types, each listed with its strain type and price, and a THC figure where the product data has one:

• Flower, sold by the gram and grown on our own farms
• Pre-rolls, king size joints rolled from our own flower
• THC vapes, disposable vape pens and Bhang Bar 2g vapes
• Gummies, Peach THC gummies in three strengths
• THC drinks, Soda Fuze sodas and Zativa drinks

Whether you call it weed, dagga, zol or ganja, it is the same plant. Our South African slang guide explains where the words come from, and types of weed covers indica, sativa and hybrid.

Can I buy dagga legally in Johannesburg?

The law is not fully settled. Adults may use and grow cannabis privately, but the rules on buying and selling it are still being worked out, and we do not give legal advice. Our article on whether weed is legal in South Africa sets out the current position with its sources.

What we can tell you is how Green Vault works: it is a members-only store for adults 18 and over, every member confirms their age when they register, and orders are paid by card online, with no cash and no meet-ups.
